Kast is a great way to show your screen and share experiences with friends. Here is how you share your screen.
Note: if you are on mobile, the easiest way to share content with your friends is via Kast TV. Check out this handy guide to get started.
1. Start or join a party
An easy way to start a party is to use the party that was created for you when you signed up. You can find it under My Parties on the front page of Kast.
2. Share your screen
Click the screen button to start sharing your screen.
You can choose to either share the entire screen, an application window, or a bowser tab. You can also choose to share your webcam using the camera button just next to the screen button. If you are using Kast on browser, we recommend using the tab option for the best experience.
If you are streaming an application window and are having issues with black screen, you may want to disable hardware graphics acceleration. We have troubleshooting guides for the following applications regarding how to do this:
5. Invite your friends
If your friends are not yet in Kast, you can share the invite link and drop it in social media or just send it directly to your friends. You can find the "Invite to party" button in the bottom right.
After you have clicked the button you will see the following window. You can send direct invites to friends you have added on Kast, and at the very bottom you can copy the invite link and send to people outside of Kast.
