Which browsers are supported?
Currently, Kast Web works on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Web might be available on more browsers in the future, but for now these two supported browsers should be available on most devices.
What can I do with Kast Web?
Kast Web allows you to create & join parties, share screen/camera/voice, chat and add friends. To see a full feature comparison, check out this article.
How does Kast Web work on Mac?
If you have used the Kast Mac app, you know that getting audio to work requires jumping through a few hoops. But when you use Kast Web on a Mac, you can select to share audio when you are streaming a browser tab. Audio while sharing your full screen or an individual application does not yet work on the web version on Mac.
What video can I share using Kast Web?
On web, much like on the desktop app, you have two main options of what type of video to share: screen & camera.
When you click on the "Share your screen" button, you get the option to select your entire screen, an application window or a browser tab (if you using Chrome, it will say "Chrome tab").
How do I share computer audio on Kast Web?
If you want to share the audio of the video you are kasting, remember to check the "Share audio" checkbox at the bottom left corner of the "Share screen" dialog.
On Mac, you can only share computer audio while kasting a browser tab. On Windows, computer audio sharing is possible for all three types of video (full screen, application and browser tab).
