Parties are great for hosting watch parties, voice chatting and video sharing when playing games, and just hanging out! This guide is here to help you with making a brand-new party or how you can edit an existing one.
Kast creates one party automatically for you when you sign up for Kast. This party is available and ready to use on the left side under My Parties.
Creating a new party
You can customize your new party with a unique name, fun description, relevant tags, privacy settings, and streaming rights. If Open Streaming is enabled, anyone who joins is allowed to stream. If turned off, members will need to request permission from a moderator or owner to stream. Check out this guide for more information on what a moderator can do. You can also upload a party banner, which should be 1920 x 1152 or 5:3 ratio.
These can all be changed later by returning to your party and clicking on the gear icon. When you're ready to launch your new party, click the "create" button.
Editing or deleting an existing party
To make edits to an existing party, click on your party name on the left side and navigate to the gear icon on the right side of the party pop-up. To make edits to any party you must be the party owner. From these settings, you can perform any necessary edits or delete the party by clicking the "delete party" text at the bottom left of the box.
